So I’m not usually a Tom Cruise fan. In fact, beyond the first Mission Impossible, he kind of lost all appeal for me. However, I am oddly super excited for Rock of Ages. Not only does it have a phenomenal cast (with talents like Catherine Zeta Jones and Mary J. Blige) but it includes some of my favorite guilty pleasure tunes from the 80s. I know it’s going to be bad, but perhaps just bad enough to be awesome? What are your thoughts!

Trailer of the Week: 21 Jump Street
I’ll admit I was a little young to watch 21 Jump Street when it came out in the late 1980s but that hasn’t stopped me from wanting to see the remake. Set in a police station, this comedy looks to be a real laugh-a-minute as Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) go undercover at a local high school. It’s sure to be THE hot buddy comedy when it’s released March 16 2012.
Plus if the trailer doesn’t get you a little excited then a little bird (aka the internet) told me that Johnny Depp makes a cameo. You know you want to watch it.
Covert Affairs Season Premiere
For all you faithful Covert Affairs fans, the wait is finally over! The 16 episode, third season begins tonight on USA at 10 pm EST, 9pm CST, and 7 pm PST. The series stars Piper Perabo as CIA covert agent Annie Walker who tries to balance family and a personal life with life-threatening missions all over the world. Light, enjoyable fare, this show quickly became a USA network staple. Are you excited for the premiere?
